Worth The Money?

The web can be such a whore at times it is pathetic. The whole Red-light thingy, the  District 9′s, Area 52′s and low and behold Victoria’s Secret.  Well the cat is out the bag. As you may or may not have heard Victoria’s Secret had their annual, I think it is annual, fashion show, and as always it was a huge success at least in the male department ages 13 on up. Yahoo had this picture posted with the following information below the image you see to the right.

The lingerie features approximately 3,400 hand-placed gems, including 142 carats of diamonds in addition to pearls, citrines, and aqua marines.

My question is, well wait, I must admit the picture is great and the woman in it is looking stunning none the less, but why the wide full body shot, and no closeups? I understand that you get to see the whole outfit and if other pictures where taken why not posted? A million plus dollar bra with breast to die for and not one close up of either one…er I mean the pair. Whoever the hell took this picture needs to be fired, or Yahoo needs to get their act together. This is along the same lines of someone showing me a photo of a Bugatti but it is nothing but the tail lights half way down the street. You can tell what it is from the curves but who cares? What about the closeups of the cockpit, the headlamps, dashboard, and Italian stitched leather? You have all seen car magazines and have come to expect a certain standard.Yahoo gives me no closeup shots to show build quality, richness of color, texture and all that good stuff. In this shot I am left wanting. She may not be a car but women and cars go hand in hand, as men we like the curves and the faster the better. I could understand the distance if I was watching the Discovery Channel during shark week and even then there are vicious closeups up those man and woman devouring sea creatures. Yes maybe this woman maybe a man-eater of sorts but definitely not vicious in the same sense and not so hard on the eyes that you have to take a full body shot from the nose bleed seats.  I cannot make out one single gem on that whole outfit, diamonds included as for the pearls, citrines, and aqua marines forget it. How do I know she is not just wearing some high-end glitter? How do I know that is not just some man parading about as a woman? I almost got sick just thinking about that part, yuck. Yahoo get your head out your ass before I put you on the blacklist,  just trying to keep it 100 out here.
